Sometimes a 1L jug is too small and a 5L jug is too big. For these occasions, often a 3L jug is just what you need. This one comes with a sturdy handle and a graded scale on the side so you can use it to measure out smaller quantities too.

Alcometer with 0-100% and Proof scales, with instructions. It is not recommended for testing beer, wine or liqueurs as it is most reliable when measuring the alcohol content of liquids with a higher percentage alcohol.

A bi-metal weldless thermometer with 3" stainless steel housing, hermetically sealed in a water proof case with glass face. Ideal for fitting to your mash tun, hot liquor tank or kettle. Provides temperature readout in both Fahrenheit and Celsius. The thermometer kit include 1 x stainless washer, 1 x 1/2"NPT/BSP Lock Nut, 2 x Silicone O-rings. Requires a 7/8" drill bit to install. To prevent leaking, wrap the 1/2" BSP threads with Teflon tape prior to threading into the port.

A convenient tool for retrieving a sample of liquid from a carbouy or fermenter. Has a stop valve at the bottom which opens when pushed against the bottom of the vessel, allowing the Sampler to fill with the fermenting liquid. This can then be transferred to another container for testing fermentation progress and/or tasting.

A glass thermometer that is 295mm long, suitable for measuring temperatures in the range of -10C to 110C. Compatible with the black thermometer bung (sold separately) so it can be mounted in the neck of a glass vessel with a suitable sized neck.

A sugar refractometer for measuring the density of your beer or wine.

Many brewers prefer to use this instead of a hydrometer because they find it quicker and easier to get an accurate reading. A refractometer will allow you to take instant gravity measurements during mash run-off or during the boil. It works like a hydrometer except you only need a few drops and there is no need to cool a trial jar of liquid before taking a reading.

Using a refractometer lets you check the progress of your brew so you can make adjustments along the way. A valuable tool for all-grain and extract brewers.

The Grainfather Fermentation Thermometer is a simple analogue thermometer that can easily be inserted into the Grainfather SF70 Thermowell to measure the temperature of the fermentation

It provides an accurate reading in both Celcius and Fahrenheit.
